I will not be available for inauguration - Faleke
Abiodun Faleke
The All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate in Kogi State, Hon. Abiodun Faleke, has said he would not make himself available for swearing in with the governor-elect, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on January 27, 2016.
Faleke, who stated this on Monday in Kabba during a meeting of APC stakeholders from Kogi West Senatorial District, said this statement followed his resolve not to work with Bello, a decision hecommunicated to the national leadership of the party some days ago.
The politician, who was reacting to resolutions reached at the meeting that he should pursue the legal option to its end, said the Audu/Faleke ticket remained intact and unchanged.
He said: “I will not disappoint Prince Abubakar Audu. I, James Abiodun Faleke will not be there for the swearing in if we don’t finish the case before the January 27, 2016.
“Nobody consulted me before making me a deputy to Bello. Bello too did not consult me. I have made my position known to the party leadership on this. I am not ready to betray and disappoint Prince Abubakar Audu.”
The tenure of the present administration ends on January 27, 2016.
He also exonerated President Muhammadu Buhari from the crisis, saying the President he knows cannot be a party to injustice and outright violation of rule of law.

5 Essential Tools That’ll Help You Survive Harmattan

5 Essential Tools That’ll Help You Survive Harmattan

OK peeps! Its December and as Christmas and Holidays crawl in, you definitely know that Harmattan is coming with the season we all love.
While some people crave the Harmattan season like Ice cream and Sharwama, other simply loathe it. So which ever side of the divide you fall on, here are five ways to beat Harmattan at its game, especially everyone who has to pop into town for one reason or another this period:
1. Shea b*tterr or ‘Ori’
Sheabutter-virginsheabutter
Since Harmattan is no respecter of persons, the best way to guard your skin against breaking is to apply Shea b*tter or ‘Ori’ (as we call it in Lagos) all over your body, especially your face, neck, hands and legs.
2. Vaseline
Vaseline-300x297
If you’re too ‘tush’ for the ‘Ori’ thing or you can’t access it in your area, then you can opt for Vaseline, which I’m sure you can get at your favourite store. It works fine just like Shea b*tter.
3. Lip gloss or Lip balm
lipgloss1-251x300
You all are familiar with the lip tearing skills of Harmattan right? If you want to beat Harmattan at this game he’s very good at, using lip gloss is your best bet. Guys who don’t want to look like homos by using the shine shine lip gloss should opt for the ones with not shine shine. There are no rules as to how many times you should apply them, in fact the more the better.
4. Sweater/Jacket
sweater-226x300
During the Harmattan season, the weather is usually very cold in the morning, when the sun shows up later in the day, the weather looks confused (you can’t tell, if its hot or cold). The advice to those who jet out of their homes very early in the morning is to is to make sure you they have their sweater or jacket with them always. Even in the sun, don’t e surprised you’ll be needing it. Another quick advice, make sure any sweater or jacket you go for is stylish because you might have to stay in them all day.
5. Pop Socks or Pantyhose:

For my ladies, these always look good on a short gown or skirt, so the Harmattan season is a good time to rock your favourite pop socks or pantyhose as it would shield your legs from the dry harmattan wind and dust.
Now that you know, go ahead and equip yourselves with these Harmattan survival tools and you would be happier for it. Enjoy the season everyone!

Breaking News: Saraki’s DSS operatives arrested for N310m robbery, SEE PHOTOS - SPY NIGERIA
Five of the operatives of the Department of State Services attached to the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, have been indicted and arrested for involvement in a robbery operation.
While two of them have been arrested, three are said to be on the run.
Five personnel of the Nigerian Army are also involved in the robbery said to have been carried out at a Bureau De Change in Abuja.
The amount involved was N310 million.
The robbery operation was carried out on November 20, 2015.
A statement on Sunday by the DSS, issued by Tony Opuiyo, said the money had been shared by the security personnel involved in the robbery but part of it had been recovered.
Opuiyo in the statement gave the names of the DSS operatives as Abdulrasheed Ahmadu MAIGARI, Solomon INUSA, Peter OKOYE, Patrick ISHAYA and George Mwatapwa IBBI.
Maigari and Ibbi have been arrested.
It was learnt that the DSS operatives were arrested last week.
This was noticed when the faces of the DSS operatives in Saraki’s hordes of details was noticed.
The five military personnel involved were led by Captain Hussein Ishaku MSHELIA, who has also been arrested by the Nigerian Army authorities.
Out of the amount stolen, N66,437,445.00 and $6,200 have so far been recovered, while efforts are being made to recover the remaining amounts.
Opuiyo added in the statement: “It is to be noted that security agencies now act in concert, thus the joint investigation undertaken with the Police, Army and the DSS.
“This action of the Service is in line with the posture of the current Administration and DSS management focus on professionalism, transparency and accountability.
“Those so far arrested have been suspended pending the completion of investigations.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Service wants to reiterate its commitment to the basic ideals and principles as established by its forebears and will not spare anyone found to be contravening the rules and regulations or the laws of the land.
“We therefore encourage members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of those at large to volunteer same to the Service or other security agency.
“The DSS also wishes to use this opportunity to assure all law abiding citizens of their safety and urge them to partner with the Service in the smooth discharge of its responsibilities.”

Obasanjo An ‘Idiot’ And “Stupid Buffoon” – Ghanaian President

Obasanjo An ‘Idiot’ And “Stupid Buffoon” – Ghanaian President

Ghanaian president, John Mahama and former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo have allegedly fought dirty over Goodluck Jonathan, the immediate past president of Nigeria.
According to The Whistle, the two spat on each other, with the Ghanaian president lashing out at Obasanjo at the African Investment Forum in Westminister, London which held the December 1 and 2. The exchange of words degenerated to insults and name calling as John Mahama openly called Olusegun Obasanjo “an idiot” and a “stupid buffoon”.
Obasanjo had openly accused the Ghanaian President and his government of financially contributing $12m to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign. He also accused President Mahama of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa.
It however took the prompt intervention of Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni to calm down their tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room to prevent the insult degenerating to a boxing war.
The forum was attended by African heads of states including the likes of Malawian president, Matata Ponyo Mapon, the prime minister Democratic Republic of Congo, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, H.E. Thomas Boni Yayi of the Republic of Benin, H. E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Republic of Uganda and H.E. Charles Gaëtan Xavier-Luc Duval, deputy Prime-Minister Republic of Mauritius among others.
Ministers, private equity firms and investors were also at the forum to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African economy.
Just recently, the president of Nigeria, Buhari was in Ghana. He was received by President John Mahama of Ghana at the presidential lounge of the Kotoka International Airport.

APC Victory In Kogi Gov Election A Waste Of Time – PDP

APC Victory In Kogi Gov Election A Waste Of Time – PDP

Alhaji Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the Kogi state supplementary election held yesterday, December 5 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described as a waste of time, scarce national resources and ridiculous shadow-chasing, the action of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in declaring “one Yahaya Bello”, the purported candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who did not participate in the overall governorship election in Kogi state, Governor-elect.
The PDP said INEC, in the bid to satisfy the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC Federal Government, succeeded only in making a mockery of itself and the entire electoral process, by trying to illegally install an individual who, apart from not being a valid candidate, scored, under his name, a paltry 6,885 vote in the so-called supplementary election as against the 204,877 votes polled by the PDP candidate, Governor Idris Wada in the overall election.
The National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, who made this known in a statement on Sunday, said “the action of INEC in trying to transfer the votes earlier garnered by the dead APC candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar to another individual is completely impractical and alien to the nation’s Constitution and the Electoral Act”.
He added that “The declaration by INEC that one Yahaya Bello polled the highest number of votes is an embarrassing travesty of the nation’s democracy and electoral process. Not only that this individual is not in any way a valid candidate in the election, he also did not score the overall votes declared against his name by INEC and cannot be declared winner under any circumstance within the provisions of our laws.
“The provisions of the constitution and the electoral act are clear to the effect that with the unfortunate death of Prince Abubakar Audu before the conclusion of the election, and the fact that the laws do not permit the replacement of candidates once the balloting has commenced, the APC crashed out of the race, leaving the PDP candidate, Governor Idris Wada as the clear winner, having garnered 204,877 votes to top all other contestants since, Prince Ababakar, the hitherto leading contestant died with his votes.
“It is therefore unfortunate that INEC disregarded the provisions of the Constitution and the Electoral Act, which left it with no other legitimate option than to declare Governor Idris Wada the governor-elect. Instead, it went ahead to preside over a charade, for which it is now attempting to illicitly handover the vote cast for a dead man to another person, who did not participate in the overall election.
“We all, including INEC and the APC know that nothing other than declaring Governor Idris Wada winner of the election fulfills the requirements of the law under the circumstance. APC cannot have two candidates in one election and the bitter in-fighting within their fold shows the absurdity of INEC’s decision in that regard. Indeed, we remain shocked that INEC could elect to create such embarrassing and inciting setting just to show its ‘friendship’ with the ruling government”.
The PDP spokesman advised the APC, Mr. Bello and their co-travelers in illegality, that theirs is a mere pipe dream as Governor Wada remains validly elected within the dictates of our laws under the circumstance.
He also called on all members and supporters of the PDP to remain calm and resist all provocations from the APC, which is now seeking the opportunity to trigger violence in the face of their misfortune, especially as the law will soon take the center stage, right the wrong created by INEC and declare Governor Wada winner.

Take Dasuki to a hospital in Sambisa

Take Dasuki to a hospital in Sambisa

Peregrino Brimah11:12 16/11/2015
For several days the Nigerian government and it's Office of National Security headed by Sambo Dasuki, refused to admit that 234 pure girls from Chibok had been kidnapped. While the Civilian-JTF had risked all, trailing the terrorists to the edges of Sambisa as we exclusively reported then, Nigeria's security agencies and army in spite of having hours of prior warning, not only failed to ward off the kidnap but did nothing to rescue the girls.
The Nigerian government during the horrific Dasuki era in attempting to mislead the public on the kidnapped girls put out a reckless and insanely wicked and heartless message, further jeopardizing the safety of the girls, that all but eight of the girls had been freed. This lie lasted a few hours till a parent of an abducted girl loudly denounced it.
Thanks to a series of brutal failures of the Dasuki administration that has been accused of being so embroiled in corruption, using the cover of the Boko Harma terror war to loot billions of dollars meant for kitting the army, the Chibok girls are no where to be found today; some are said to have died, some have been forcefully married with many having had kids from that and also out of wedlock, some sold and all other types of sad fates have befallen the rest.
The Chibok girls have been attended to in hospitals in Sambisa forest if at all. This is where Dasuki should be sent for his medical therapy. He should be treated with those drug sachets we see on the jungle floors in pictures of raided camps.
Dasuki has been a part of Nigeria's governments for at least 20 years added up. His step brother, Gusau has been a part of governments for as long or longer. These are the people who make up 30 years of Nigeria's pain via PDP godfathers (14 years of military misrule-IBB et al) and also have been part of PDP sons' (the past 16 years of PDP democratic misrule-GEJ/OBJ) administrations. These are the people who have ensured that there are no standard hospitals in Nigeria this 2015. These are the people who have deprived us of security, progress and the luxury of reasonable comfort and hope in Nigeria.
How many of us can afford to travel abroad when our health ails? How many of us can afford to eat three square meals in the wrecked nation that Dasuki and co have left us? Truth is, everyone from Jonathan's administration or who supported him and his party is guilty until proven innocent.
It is unbelievable and a big shame that Dasuki has the effrontery to request leave to travel abroad to be treated. What nonsense! Where is it in Nigeria's constitution that a suspect, charged with treason should be allowed to travel abroad for health purposes? Does he know what treason is?
Dasuki is a national security threat. He can or should only be allowed abroad if it is to go and receive his capital sentencing for wrecking Nigeria's capacity to defend its territory and allowing over 100,000 Nigerians to be killed in the hands of Boko Haram, over 2 million to be displaced and the Chibok girls to be so destroyed for the only "crime" of going to school.
I pray the Department of State Security realizes the violation of allowing an individual charged with being a national security threat and risk, and of treason, to travel abroad. Dasuki should be the last Nigerian allowed to travel abroad for "health" purposes.
As it is for the poor, so it must be for the rich, else the wrath of God will continue to be on Nigeria and we will continue to see deadly chaos from north to south and west to east.
Crying like a baby, "eyaa eyaaa eyaaa, I want to go abroad to see white doctor... eyaa eyaa eyaa!"
